Art & Culture

Despite its size, Port Austin is home to a vibrant arts community, with numerous public art peices, galleries, and art events throughout the year. One of the newest and most impactful art endevours is the M53 Barn Art Project featuring professional artists reinterpreting the classic American barn. Port Austin hosts annual events that celebrate the arts including Art in the Park where artists and craftsmen showcase their work. Visitors can expect to find everything from paintings and jewelry to pottery and woodworking. Music has also taken hold in the area with multiple music venues and events, including the wildly popular Porch Fest in Port Austin each June. Whether you're a seasoned art collector or simply appreciate the beauty of creativity, Port Austin's thriving arts scene is definitely worth exploring.
