Charter a boat or fish from shore.

The Port Austin area is known for its abundant fishing opportunities and is considered a popular fishing destination. Some of the most commonly caught species in the area include perch, walleye, bass, and pike. Fishing can be done from the shore or there are several charter boat services available for hire. Some popular fishing spots include the Port Austin Reef, the Huron City Pier, and the Pointe aux Barques Lighthouse. It's recommended to obtain a Michigan fishing license and to follow state fishing regulations when fishing in Port Austin.
